Choose the I-20 when its heat footprint and mounting requirements suit the area you want to enjoy. Its 2,000W output is a purposeful heating choice for a well-planned seating or dining zone, with the same focus on material quality and ongoing support as the rest of the Ideal Series.

The I-20 and I-25 share a 1,010 mm body length, with different power outputs and coverage estimates. The right choice comes down to your layout and exposure, rather than choosing more wattage by default. A 316 stainless steel body helps resist corrosion, and the replaceable quartz element supports years of ownership.

Infrared heat warms people and surfaces in its path. Position the heater over or toward the area you actually use. Wind, mounting height and the openness of the space affect comfort and coverage.

Plan your installation

Tell us where you like to sit, dine or gather, along with the area dimensions, mounting height, number of open sides and a photo. We will help check how the I-20 fits your space. Coverage is a planning estimate, not a guaranteed temperature or a substitute for the installation clearances.

Keep the heater's long axis horizontal. Flush mounting requires the purpose-designed recess kit and a firebox rated for at least one hour. Your electrician must follow the installation manual and local requirements for wiring, protection and clearances. Confirm mounting height with Kelray before installation.

The single element is operated with a suitable on/off switch. Discuss compatible controls and mounting accessories with Kelray and your electrician when planning your system.
